Cooling off the cheap way

We went down to a river and played in the water.  It's ridiculously hot and we waited until early evening to go to keep from getting massively sunburned and heat exhaustion but we had a great time.

So did the kids

I took a few pictures just because I wanted to and because I thought the remains of the old dam were neat.
