I use them in any typ...Yep, they are great mashed! I use them in any type of dish like stews, pot roast, soups, anything that calls for lots of root veggies, they are great! I just tried them for the first time last year and I was quite surprised by how mild they were, much like potatoes, carrots, turnips and such, I even snacked on them raw while preparing! Cube...You can also make them like mashed potatoes! Cube them, boil them until tender, mash them up with butter & garlic & some milk until creamy....
